Nag-aaral na si James nang lumipat silang mag-ama dito sa Pilipinas. Sa isang regular school siya pumasok, pero nahirapan siyang makapag-adjust academically kaya naman ipinasok siya ng kanyang Australian father sa isang distant-learning center. Dahil sa kanyang mestizo looks maraming humahanga dito kay James pero may mga pagkakataong nakukulang pa rin s’ya ng lakas ng loob. At ito’y sa pagkakataon kailangan ‘yang magsalita sa harap ng maraming tao. Kapag kinakailangan n’yang magsalita in public, nagkakaroon s’ya ng mental block at di makapagsalita. Robert James Reid is now inside the PBB house as one of the Bedspacers or the Teenternational housemates.


He was introduced along with two other Caucasian boys: Bret Alan Jackson II from the US and Carson Lee Jacob Vince from Canada.


James is 17-year-old 'Dashing Dude' from Australia and he was described last as a multi-talented guy. He can play the guitar and is into different sports like swimming, skateboarding, gymnastics and triathlon.


7 other Teenternational are from Asia. They are So Young "Sophia" Ko, Jin Sol "Jenny" Kim, Hyung Sung "Ryan" Bang, Sungbin "Jack" Yoon and Do Hun "Richard" Na from Korea, Ann Li from Taiwan and April Sun from Hong Kong.
